Our Site is back after few months. I need to take the blame for the delay and my apologies for that. There was a Virus attack which spoilt the ending tags of our previous theme. It had affected all the files. So had to come up with a new theme, not that great as the previous one. None the less, it is up

Clarity comes with a stand, and with clarity you can take a stand. But it’s so important to have clarity in life without which our existence seems mundane and mechanical. What you do is not important, not even how you do but how much you are clear about it matters. Wishing you clarity and contentment for year 2010

It’s often debated what comes first clarity or stand but they both follow each other consecutively whichever you start with. But clarity in our lives is such an important aspect to keep us alive. Otherwise we are just clones doing whatever is prevalent around us or move like a herd. Always choosing whats abundant, making safe choices, following the crowd and we start losing our selves.

We keep ourselves indulged in various things or time to time shift our indulgence as it brings clarity to the fact that we live, we are alive and ultimately that’s what matters. Whether god exists, this world has any meaning, country, system, society, government, friends and relatives; all of this only has a meaning if we are alive. If you notice right from eating ice cream to copulating, the only reason we like to remain active physically, which eventually makes us mentally active, is feel alive even if it’s just a fleeting reminder of our being. There is a constant repetition in our activities as they begin as actions but turn into activities which ultimately makes us forget our self again. Now our primacy is lost. We desperately seek to establish our existence but mostly the attempt is uselessly external. It’s like seeking your family in every house in the city except your own. That is why we seek acknowledgement from others around of who we are and what we do. Recognition of our being alive.

A friend says he doesn’t believe in god, there is one who says I only believe in nature as god or there are followers of scientology these days. Now anyone who is trying to establish a fact by mentioning whether they believe or do not believe is actually spiritual. As the fact remains they are still acknowledging their existence, it’s the `I’ they are making claims about. No one denies that `I’ do not exist, meaning everyone accepts the presence & persistence of the self. No such statements or convictions would ve any meaning without the backing of an `I’.

It still remains important that you have at least some stand and you are firm about it. As it’s the law of nature that if you get firm about anything with no fickle mindedness it leads you to clarity. It’s like only if you are standing on an extreme end, you have a probability to reach the other extreme. Unfortunately this kind of dedication to one’s belief is rare to find. You only come across people forgetting their statements or being casual about their words, changing their stand as per the situation or circumstance, fretting over petty issues. Only those who neglect or don’t have principles of any kind reach such degraded levels.

Even if someone says that I don’t take anything seriously or don’t care about anything or they are casual about everything. They can get clarity too if and only if this remains their motto everywhere, but the moment there is subject of their interest or things they crave for, they get serious and involved, hence lose.

May I request you to not just put this whole beautiful term you have been granted in constant indulgence in activities but also seek what you actually need ease, clarity, confidence, knowledge, contentment, peace, affection, belongingness. It’s within you only if you just cease this restlessness and give your self some time. Just sit idle and be with your self for a while everyday and then you will treat others the way you expect to be treated.

With this I bid good bye to 2009, another year in my quest to establish me in my `self’ and hope to focus more in 2010. Wishing you clarity, peace and contentment for 2010.

First of all let me be clear what I mean by ‘Abuse’ here. I only mean “gaali dena”/ “Name-calling”. now since subject line is clear, lets come to its body.

Ever wonder what is so special about abuse? hmm.. ask a girl’s opinion about it and she would say “ohh god! it shows poor upbringing of the abuser.” And ask a guy, he would be either indifferent or would show respect to abuse.

There is always two sides of a coin. One which we can see, which is upfront and other which we can not see which we can only take for sure, that it exists and obviously, it is not viewable. Same case stands for abuse too. Its easy to say that calling names shows your poor mentality but it is tough to accept that it requires lots of creativity too.

Name-calling expels your anger, shows your love, shun your hypocrisies and gives you power. Momentarily but definitely. Name-Calling helps in conveying your lengthy frustration in a single word; What else could do this so effectively!

Sexual-name-calling is as efficient in breaking relations as in bonding them; And here creativity matters most. The more creative it is, the more you would laugh.. the abuser as well as the one who got abused.

So people shun away that bad tag regarding Name-calling. Its not bad, its just one way you think about it…………..

We must prioritize to address our ultimate fear death. How it affects our daily life and our complete being. It has the most vital role to play as its the inevitable part of all of our lives. Accept it, face it, understand it to know life.

Everyone knows that our ultimate fear is death and hence we do everything to evade the acknowledgement. But it still reveals itself in some form or the other all the time. The gradual decay and fade of everything. Everything moving towards nothing or ending every moment. We try to capture moments or instances from our lives which make us feel lively.

Its a genuine lust in each being for life and nobody wants to give it up. We cant even give it up actually. Life is eternal but the ignorance of this fact drives us to do all the trivial and useless things wasting our precious time. None of us has experienced death but lot of near death experiences probably and heard/seen death of known people. What happens after death or with death? If only we d try to find it while we are still alive.

There are many things that point towards this inevitable fact of life for instance boredom or lull of any kind, awkward silence amongst people, lack of anything to look upto, halt after reaching a destination, void after fulfilling an ambition we strive hard and put at stake everything for. It has become such a common practice to compromise on everything from emotions, values, ethics, humanitarian behavior just to get to a single trivial point or moment. Unfortunately that too doesn’t last just like our death.

We avoid pain, discomfort, unfavorable situations, people we are uncomfortable with to extreme extents and yet the disparity strikes us putting in such conditions again and again. Making us realize that you cant make everything okay from outside. Nature shows us both sides constantly liveliness and void. So that we start focusing towards something that we can never lose how hard we try and stop focusing towards things & moments that can never last.

At least for some minutes in a day we should dedicate to life. Just life, simply life, as it is without any changes, without any deficiencies and without any gains. Life which is complete in itself and flowing in/around us, enveloping us all the time.

We celebrate occasions and festivals following certain ways, traditions and rules. As on the outside we associate life with them. We live in families and societies, build relations and again socialize, join/gather in groups, clubs, organizations, unions, alliances, societies, etc. Its not like everyone is blind but ignorance is bliss momentarily. The facts I am throwing light towards don’t often leave one with a pleasant or comfortable feeling or aftermath.

But again only to the point where you just read or ponder or contemplate over it. Once you start dwelling towards life in its true and pure form. When you choose to face it hard on the face and not ignore it. You are ultimately showered with light of knowledge thats stays as its always been within you. Only by remembering for few moments everyday or after every few hours or best as often as you can, that everything is heading towards death but life always stays. We have to stop grabbing what wont last and start focusing towards what envelopes us all the time. Fear, greed, lust, anger, pride, hate, aversion, attachment and other such lowly as well as degraded traits/attributes we find commonly associated with human life only because we fear death.

Death is merely physical and it only ends whats physical. It breaks our false association from everything that is equally perishable as our own body. Every single moment that passes by is dead and the moments yet to come still uncertain/unpredictable. The present moment is where death can never be and life always is. Whatever we contribute doesn’t stay beyond a point and even things we mentally try to establish do fade away with time but this realization of life, which I refer to as the real Self. This realization or at least the acceptance stays.

How can anything be valuable if you know it doesn’t have any age or its not gonna be with you. Isn’t the time spent on any such pursuit ultimately a waste? At a particular point it might seem valuable but such values that won’t last long enough. Even events we consider contributing to nations or society for may be a decade or few but the nature’s cycle changes everything.

Accept it and you ll know life or die like a million cells in our body everyday. Death is not be feared but to be accepted, known and understood. Its more important than anything we are killing/dying for everyday.

This post is dedicated to my friend Abhishek who claims that photography is his passion and I feel he doesn’t understand the P of photography. I have advised him to go through a professional training for photography and I wish he finds some time from his busy schedule. When I thought of learning photography the first need was to understand a camera.A digital camera is a camera that takes videos or still photographs, or both, digitally by recording images via an electronic image sensor.
Basic Features
1. Battery: Some digital cameras use standard alkaline batteries. Others come with rechargeable batteries and an AC power cord for recharging. To extend battery life, use the electronic LCD screen sparingly.
2. Camera Dock/Docking Station:A small, convenient desktop device you place your camera onto. It will automatically download photos from the camera to your computer, and charge the camera’s battery at the same time.
3. Digital Zoom:A digital zoom is software inside the camera that crops (selects part of) a photo and enlarges that portion. The digital zoom is handy, although it does reduce the resolution (sharpness) of your photo.
4. Display/LCD Screen:The screen on the back of the camera. The display lets you see the image you’re about to take, and view the photo after you’ve taken.
5. Image Resolution and Mega Pixels: The resolution of your digital camera determines what you can do with your photos, such as post them online or make prints and enlargements. Resolution is made up of building blocks called pixels. A million pixels together are called a megapixel. Today’s digital cameras have resolutions ranging from less than 3 megapixels to over 8 megapixels. The more megapixels, the more picture detail is captured, resulting in larger-size prints that look sharper (depending on the type of lens and zoom setting you’re using).
6. Downloading: Downloading is transferring photos from the camera to a computer or printer. It is usually done with a USB cable connected to the camera, or by removing your memory card and inserting it into your printer or memory card reader. Using a docking station or a printer dock is another convenient way to download
7. Flash: Most digital cameras are equipped with a built-in flash that is activated in dim lighting. Full-featured cameras have extra flash modes, such as red-eye reduction and night-portrait settings
8. Image Stabilizer: Some cameras come with an image stabilizing feature. It automatically eliminates any camera shake – the slight jiggling motion that can result as you hold the camera – helping ensure a crisp, sharp photo.
9. Lens: Basic point-and-shoot digital cameras have a fixed-focus lens. Most other models have an optical zoom, a digital zoom or both. An optical zoom lens actually moves outward toward the subject to take sharp close-up photos. However, a digital zoom simply enlarges the center portion of the subject to fill the frame, producing a photo with less detail.
10. Memory: Digital memory is the “film” of digital cameras. “Internal memory” is built into the camera and cannot be removed. Removable media, or external memory, consists of a memory card that can be removed from the camera so you can download later.
11. Memory card: This is the media on which the camera stores the images that it shoots. It may be filled with pictures, downloaded, and refilled thousands of times, which is one of their major advantages over standard photo film
12. Optical View Finder: This is a small “window” generally located at the top of the camera. Optical viewfinders are handy for two reasons:LCD screens are hard to see in bright light, so composing your shot is hard.Using the optical viewfinder (and turning off the LCD screen) will make your batteries last considerably longer.
13. Optical Zoom: This is the same kind of zoom lens found in high-end film cameras. An optical zoom lens actually moves in and out to get wide-angle, telephoto and macro (close-up) shots. Unlike a digital zoom, an optical zoom will not reduce the resolution of your photos.
14. Resolution: Resolution refers to the concentration of pixels or megapixels used to make up a photo. Cameras with higher resolution can take sharper photos. Resolution is expressed by the number of horizontal pixels multiplied by the number of vertical pixels in a square inch. For example, the most basic cameras have a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels per square inch (about 0.3 megapixels). Some advanced models can go up to 8 megapixels and beyond! A camera up to 4 MP will produce a sharp, full-frame print of 8 x 10. If you want to crop (select), then enlarge a portion of the image with no loss in quality, 5 MP and up is your best choice.
Advance Features
1. Smile Shutter- Detects Smile and then automatically takes Picture
2. Super Steady Shots- Eliminates blurring caused by unstable hand
3. Face detection- Detects faces & focuses on them
4. USB streaming- Download pictures from camera to the computer
5. ISRM- Hassle Free. The Camera automatically selects the settings
6. Double anti-blur solution- Reduces variations caused by shaky hands
7. Smart Capture- Auto selecting scene modes
8. DSLR- Captures wider range of data, useful enhancing or designing
9. HD photo- High definition image
10. Anti shake- Eliminates blurring
11. Internal Zoom Lens- Convenient to carry

Digital Camera Accessories
1. Memory card
2. Bags and pouches
3. Photo Printers
4. Tripods

Date of Judgement : 23.02.2007
Case No.: Appeal(civil)919 of 2007

The Supreme court has rules that all injured persons especially in the case of road traffic accidents, assaults etc.. , when brought to a hospital / medical centre, have to be offered first aid, stabilized and shifted to a higher centre / government centre , if required. It is only after this that the hospital can demand payment or complete policy formalities. In case you a bystander and wish to help someone, please go ahead. Your responsibility ends as soon as you leave the person at the hospital.
The hospital bears the responsibility of informing the police, first aid etc.. hope this changes the long emergency waits in the hospital, and also encourage bystanders to come to the forefront.
Thought of sharing this information i received, under social responsibility.
Happy mindswapping!

I have been coming across lots of employees complaining about the work pressure, things not being systematic and problems coming again and again. People often complain that as the company is growing, they are facing increasing problems and challenges. Problems are never coming to an end. This is making them feel extremely miserable and dissatisfied.
Lets understand the situation through a story which many of us might have heard during our childhood.
Once upon a time there was a king called Vikramaditya. One day a Sage came to meet him and asked for a gift. Vikaramditya said “Whatever you wish shall be yours”. Sage said “I want you to procure a Vetal (ghost) for me who is hanging in a tree in the middle of the crematorium which is located in the Southern end of your city”. “You shall have it”, said Vikramaditya. The Sage warned the king, “Remember while you find the vetal and carry him you cannot retain him, for the moment you speak, it will escape from your clutches and return to the tree. Remember king to fetch the vetal, do not open your mouth, do not speak, silently bring him from the tree to me then I shall be most pleased”. Vikramaditya took the advice, went to the crematorium, contend on bringing the Vetal back to the sage. But vetal was certainly not happy with this. Vetal wanted to escape so he made a huge racket and asked the king “speak to me, speak to me”, but the king refused to speak, finally the clever vetal told the king a story, “you may not speak, but I shall speak, I shall tell you a story. At the end of the story there shall be a puzzle, if you know the answer of the puzzle, tell me the answer and if you know the answer and don’t speak then your head will burst into a 100 pieces”.
So the vetal began the narration of the story.Extremely complex and beautiful story at the end of which there was a puzzle, “now Vikramaditya” said Vetal, “what is the answer to this puzzle”. Vikaramaditya being a wise king had the answer and he also knew the warning that if he knew the answer and did not give the answer his head will burst into 100 pieces. And so he was forced to reply and give the correct answer. As soon as he gave the correct answer ,as soon as the word came out of his mouth the vetal ran back to the tree forcing Vikramaditya to follow him.Vetal was pulled down once again and carried back. As the journey towards the city began, the Vetal once again told him another story which ended in the puzzle, once again the Vetal said, “if you know the answer to the puzzle, speak up otherwise your head will be burst into a 100 pieces”, Vikramaditya knew the answer and he gave the answer. No sooner he did this, the Vetal went back to the tree. This happened 25 times.
Twenty fifth was a very difficult puzzle that Vikramaditya had no answer. He remained silent. The Vetal burst out laughing saying “Ha! Vikramaditya you don’t know answer to this question which means you will take me to the sage. But let me tell you something that is no sage that is Stotra. As soon as he gets hold of me he will transfer me to a goblin. The first half of the goblin will be to destroy you .So in not answering the question you have not succeeded but you have actually failed. You may have succeeded in taking the vetal to the sage but you have failed because you will eventually be destroyed because of this silence. What you considered as the monotonous task of pulling me again and again and again , the irritating monotonous part which you had to do and every time you felt bad that you had to solve the problem ,but this was actually saving your life.
This is a lesson to all the leaders in the world. They will be forced and consulted with many problems in their life and they will be expected to find a solution. These are difficult solution which demands lot of responsibility and accountability. So long as they are able to solve the problem they will be recognized as the leader . The day they are unable to solve the problem, the day they look at others to solve the problem that is the day they shall be destroyed, they will lose their leadership position.
So in life if we wish to be Vikramaditya we must always seek the Vetal. However, more difficult the situation the more difficult the puzzle, the greater the need for Vikramaditya. So choose what kind of life you want to lead, a life which is full of problem that you are expected to solve and solving them in glory or life which has no problem where you have no value because in a world where there are no problem there is no need for Vikramaditya who can offer solution
