Eternal fondness or fondness of the eternal

All of you reading this article now, like the rest of the humankind are fond of something or the other. It is this fondness that drives us up or keeps us alive as we think. It is the force behind our actions. If at all we are made to move for the fondness of someone else or we are governed for fulfilling someone else’s fondness we feel suffocated and trapped.

It exists in every form of action a bubble bath, sleeping, eating, drinking, smoking, friends, family, travelling, nature, hills, sea side, sports, career, money, sex, reading, knowing, learning, religion…………………… You name any action. For each one their own and obviously common fondness which binds the society or groups together. Whether you are an athiest or a staunch believer you still are fond of something or believe in something.

But the irony lies in the fact that it is this fondness which has made us handicapped, made our lives a drag, pushes us to avoid accepting the miserable vulnerability we face every moment. We get hurt or affected by smallest of incidences, or if things dont work as per our plan or desire, people dont behave or respond as per our expectations. It is often said that treat others the way you want to be treated but it is not always true, you do get back stabbed or kicked in the face. If looking at the so called brighter side then you dearest ones are not always next to you when you face hurdles in life. There is a lot of turmoil or pain which you have to face on your own.

For instance those of you who might not agree much with me on this subject and would like to believe they are in better control of their lives, things are moving as per their aspirations, they are successful, they ve well wishers, lovers, care takers, friends surrounding. I would like to throw some light on a hypothetical incidence for now but becomes a reality for anyone without prior invitation. What if you were suddenly struck with appendicitis or slipped from stairs and broke a tissue in your feet. You alone would have to bear this pain and no body can share it with you. Such a condition might suddenly disrupt lot of your plans for many of which you might have been compromising with your health, family, friends and most importantly your own `self’. But now you have no choice but to pay attention to your condition at hand.

Friends no matter what point or condition of life we might be in, irrespective of our age, status, surroundings, any thing. It is the eternal fondness that is for our life energy, which matters. You can call it force or the source, life or power. It is very power that keeps our lungs breathing and heart beating. The energy with which we feel laughter as well as sorrow, pleasure as well as pain, emotions, relief and regret. Everything that we are and constantly evolving towards. You see all other fondness are bound or conditional in their fulfillment or achivement but this fondness for life is free from all. Your fondness has been changing with age and time with your mind and brain but life remains as it is in you. It exists even in objects we generally consider lifeless. For instance a bottle, a door, stone pillar, everything that we can see and cant see. The space between your eyes and this computer screen also comprises of the same life that flows through your body. Where else do you think different materials gather their properties, for instance silk, iron, wood, titanium, cotton, sugar, rice, milk, water, etc. It is this life source which gives everything their attributes.

Now the life energy which in and around us, it is what makes this universe and the space, is termed as `Self’, the real self which is their within each of us. But since you cant see it or feel it but only experience it everywhere, all the time. It is what god is. If you start dwelling in it or reach out for the fondness of life or `self’ which provides us our existence, then your joy, peace, bliss, affection will know no bounds. You d be unaffected by any person, circumstance or object. As everything else is perishable except `self’, everything else is constantly undergoing changes and everything is constantly leaving you including your own body and mind.

Most of us are capable of appreciating the vastness and expansion of the `self’, be it physical or emotional. None of us pay attention to this root, the providence which governs life. If at all we d turn our focus towards it, everything else that we have been dying everyday for will come to you. It is something cherised by sages across the globe and since ages. It is the fundamental basis of all religions. It is the true effort, labour, work to grow in the fondness of the eternal, the `self’.

Hello friends,

Welcome to this new section that is dedicated to your real self. It will be answering quests pertaining to our existence, its purpose, universal ego, manifested ego, projections of our mind and its functioning.

How we have separate states of existence, mainly physical, subtle and casual. Is our life really in our control or it is governed by a greater system called providence. How much sciences like feng shui, vaastu, astrology, stones, planetary positions effect us or do they have a limit.

It is for those who have pondered over existential questions like who am I? where have I come from? why do we exist? Is there life after death? origin of life on earth and in space? the role of five elements?

There is a cosmic energy that envelopes us all the time and how every function no matter how mundane or important, physical or emotional is being conducted with the power of this energy. How to reach its source, conserve it more to understand the true knowledge and gain true wisdom.

We will discuss small measures that can provide us an unconventional life style and take us to new horizons we could never imagine by just taking small steps.

Wishing you peace, affection and bliss.

Long before google came up with the option to search for particular images in various sites with the help of the file name, references and meta tags. I ve been fiddling and wondering on a concept that if we needed to find a reference to a particular image about which we dont have any information.

For instance you have an historical symbol or an archeological visual or a company’s logo but you have no idea where does it belong to or what does it refer to. We could just scan and upload it to the search engine and it could generate texts and images on various sites that refer to the same.

It is currently only capable of yielding results from the texts in the name of the file or text around it which is not necessarily accurate. If you are searching for the images of planet Saturn and if someone has put a picture of planet Pluto with the description of Saturn, you will get even this in your results. This could often lead you to misinterpreted results when you are looking for not so popular pictures. Imagine if you have a painting or a sculpture gifted to you by your grandpa and you dont know about its value, artist, provenence, age, etc. You could just upload a image of the same and reach the information related to the art work.

Imagine similar possibilities in the field of science, technology, history, archeology, etc. But the point comes how can it be achieved. I am not sure of that yet. But I figured two such instances we hear of often like, firstly, how a new set of finger prints can be searched and matched from the database of fingerprints of millions of people. Secondly long back a friend of mine was working on a Human DNA project and he told me that they were developing some application to match DNA structures with images of the available patients structure. Now in both these cased an image reference is directly searched in other images without involvement of any text in this search.

Though the creation of such an search engine can be very intensive and intricate but what a boon it can be. What do you think?

To complement the name, the statuette was designed to depict a winged woman holding an atom, which has since become the symbol of the TV Academy’s goal of supporting and uplifting the art and science of television: The wings represent the muse of art; the atom the electron of science.

Brazil dazzles Argentina, Enters 2010 World Cup

Brazil has secured its place for 2010 World Cup after beating Argentina 3-1 in the qualifiers yesterday. Fabiano once again did for his country. Fabiano scored in the 30th and 67th minute with Luisao opening the scoring in the 24th. But i personally enjoyed the Argentine classic goal by Jesus Datola. Well, by that time maybe it was already late. But now Argentina and Maradona ( their national coach ) are unhappy and struggling to qualify for the FIFA World Cup Soccer 2010. I like Argentina almost as much as brazil for their skillful soccer and would love to see them play in South Africa ( Hosting 2010 World cup ).  Argentina needs to prove against paraguay for their place in World Cup. Else they have to wait till FIFA World Cup 2014, hosted by Brazil. fabiano All The Best Argentina !!!

Career Vision-Shaping the Future

In the delightful book Alice in Wonderland, a conversation between Alice and Cheshire Cat goes like this:
Alice: Would you tell me , please, which way I ought to go from here?
Cheshire Cat: That depends a great deal on where you want to get to?
Alice: I don’t much care where…………….
Cheshire Cat: Then it doesn’t matter which way you go

While Alice is somewhat indifferent as to the choice of destination, today’s employees think differently when it comes to managing their careers. Gone are the days when a lifetime of career meant nothing more than a series of accidents that went under the name of “career choices”.

Thanks to the fact that we live in a world where patience and realistic thinking are taking their place. The career discussions that happen at the workplace today have changed both in form and content. A considerable amount of time of Human Resource Department in most of the organization is just spent in measuring expectations and resolving career related dilemmas. Managers find themselves seeking guidance from HR in designing career solutions that address the unique needs of their team members.

Organizations have realized the increasing need to have a robust career management process. They have been working on strengthening their capacity and capability to offer enriching careers to its employees. Therefore, we have today a rich deposit of insight, innovations and best practices in this area.

Career Management Process has been approached differently by different organizations. While there is no one formula for success and each organization needs to build a career management process that addresses its unique needs, it is worthwhile to keep in mind key guiding principles:

Career Management Strategy

Transfer the Power to Employees

Guide Employees

Prepare Appropriate Infrastructure

Robust Feedback Mechanism

In the end, it does not matter much which direction you are headed, as long as you are relishing every moment of it!

Photography facts- for beginners

do ever give attention to objects, people surrounding you, landscape, animals, emotions or expressions of anybody around you??
Do you have the fascination of clicking something special happening around you want to and keep it fresh in memory?? Do you often play with camera?? Do you ever try focusing on different object from different angles??
I am not a professional photographer but yeah I do have a passion i.e. photography and I would like to share some basic but really useful facts about photography that I follow.
How light effects photography?
Mid-Day Sunlight
At high noon on a clear day, the sun is extremely strong. It generates a hard light with deep crisp shadows. It also is coming from directly overhead. So not a suitable time for photography.

Portraits in sunlight:
While clicking human figures the hardness of the light will generate dark shadows the subject’s eyes and nose. Better is to move the subject into the shade where he will be lit by skylight rather than sunlight.

The best solution is to wait for the light to be coming from a different direction and/or for different weather. Near sunrise or sunset, is the best time to get flattering light on both the portrait subject and the background object

Landscape in Sunlight
It is difficult to see the shape of the landscape when the sun is directly overhead. Our eyes rely on shadows to recognize shapes. It is occasionally possible to get a good landscape photo at midday if the subject is reasonably compelling, especially if you are aiming at the kind of descriptive photos found in travel brochures. In mid-day sun is almost above the head and thus cast very harsh shadow.

A Cloudy Skylight
A high overcast is perfect for a lot of photography. Best for capturing architectural details, such kind of day lets you to do it without shadows obscuring anything. Overcast /or rainy days are the good times to go to the forest and click pictures. Photo’s clicked in cloudy sky add a special charm to RGB colors.

InTwilight
There is no reason to put the camera away after the sun goes down. Perhaps, usually you will get your best pictures then. However, you need to have a bit log exposure for a perfect picture. Near sunrise or sunset, is the best time to get flattering light on both the portrait subject and the background object .

Street Lights
You can use the Street light to make your the picture colorful, vibrant, and interesting.
The reason is, street light usually emits light in various spectral bands and the color that this produces an interesting effect upon the photograph making it look mysterious. However, different kinds of light bulb have different effects!
Indoors — Fluorescent Lights
Fluorescent lights are best for black and white photography. For color photography, fluorescent lights have some of the same as street lights
Electronic Flash
After the usage of flashes photography has become night affair too. flash, photographers need not to rest at nights.
Usually with flash, we actually Point a subject and shoot . The camera will automatically blast the subject with light if there isn’t enough ambient light.
You can use this concept of flash to click creative and really innovative photographs. Does that mean that you should throw out your electronic flash? No. A built-in flash that fires straight ahead is useful for filling harsh shadows in bright sunlight. An accessory flash designed to slide on top of the camera can be a great tool when used properly.
You can narrow a fat face. You can’t really do anything except capture a scene that never existed.

Through this column I will keep posting about few basic facts about photography.
